As an associate at ING Business Banking Sales South-East region, you have an exciting commercial role in which you quickly learn the ropes of our fascinating profession. This is the ideal (starting) position for a successful career in banking.
You are part of a multidisciplinary Client Service Team (CST) in the region, which is responsible for serving MidCorp customers in a particular sector. These are customers that operate nationally, but also customers with international exposure. You will work together in the team with a relationship manager, a lending specialist and a Transaction Services consultant – highly experienced colleagues who will teach you all the ins and outs and give you every opportunity to handle matters yourself. If you set high standards for yourself, like your colleagues, and also take the initiative, you will work as a fully-fledged member of the team from day 1. Your role is to help the team, in the broadest sense, to be as successful as possible and continue to grow in its role of serving MidCorp customers. What exactly you will do is pretty extensive and also depends on you personally to some extent. However, your primary tasks include:

• carrying out market analyses;
• working on high-quality customer presentations;
• preparing meetings and discussions with customers;
• solving problems;
• staying in touch with customers.

Also:
You have a university degree, for example, in Business Administration or Business Economics.

• Whether you already have a few years of work experience, or have just graduated is not so important. We are mainly interested in your personality, capabilities and ambitions. You will learn all the aspects of the banking profession in an on-the-job setting and through the educational programmes and training courses we offer.
• You have exceptional expertise in working with Excel and PowerPoint.
• You have an excellent command of spoken and written Dutch and English.

Als Associate bij ING Business Banking werk je in een boeiende commerciële functie waarin je de mogelijkheid hebt om snel de kneepjes van het mooie bankvak onder de knie te krijgen. De ideale (start) functie dus voor een flitsende bankcarrière.
Je maakt deel uit van een multidisciplinair Client Service Team (CST) in de regio, dat verantwoordelijk is voor de bediening van grootzakelijke klanten in de sector zakelijke dienstverlening, leisure en substainability. Een brede sector waarbij buy & build een belangrijk thema is. Qua substainability financieren we bijv. zonneparken, batterij opslag etc. Nationaal opererende klanten, maar ook klanten met internationale exposure. In het team werk je samen met Relatiemanagers, Lending Specialisten en een Transaction Services Consultant. Zeer ervaren collega’s waar je veel van leert en die je alle ruimte geven om zaken zelf op te pakken. Vanaf dag 1 draai je volwaardig mee in het team, waarbij je gezamenlijk klantverantwoordelijk bent. Tenminste, als je iemand bent die net als je collega’s de lat voor zichzelf hoog legt en ook het initiatief pakt. Jouw rol is om het team in de breedste zin te helpen zo succesvol mogelijk te zijn en verder te groeien in de dienstverlening aan grootzakelijke klanten. Wat je precies gaat doen? Dat is nogal wat en het ligt ook een beetje aan jezelf. Maar om een paar belangrijke taken te noemen:

• Je voert marktanalyses uit;
• Je werkt aan kwalitatief hoogwaardige klantpresentaties;
• Je bereidt gesprekken met klanten voor;
• Je helpt elkaar en de klant verder;
• Je onderhoudt klantcontact.

Als Associate bij ING Business Banking werk je in een multidisciplinair CST vanuit één van de vier regio’s van ING Business Banking welke zijn gevestigd in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven of Zwolle. Dit betreft een vacature voor de regio Eindhoven.

• Heb je al een paar jaar werkervaring of je bent net afgestudeerd. Dat maakt ons niet zo heel veel uit. Het gaat ons vooral om je persoonlijkheid, capaciteiten en ambitie. Alle aspecten van het bankvak leer je in de praktijk en door opleidingen die we je bieden;
• Ben je bijzonder vaardig in het werken met Excel en Powerpoint;
• Beheers je de Nederlandse en Engelse taal uitstekend, zowel in woord als in geschrift.
